Electrophysiology Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Roanoke, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab with experience in EP mapping.
• Shift schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) plus one 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), rotating late shifts.
• No weekends or call requirements; must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract on a rotating basis.
• Charting in Epic required.
• Locals allowed if living 50-99.9 miles from the facility (one 13-week contract max). Must live at least 50 miles away per driver's license address.

Required Qualifications

• Electrophysiology Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Certification in one or more of the following: ARRT (R) or CCI.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Experience

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Electrophysiology).
• Prior travel experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted.

Important Requirements & Policies

• Driver’s License/State ID with an address more than 50 miles from the facility required within 48 hours of signing.
• Background check: 7-year history required within 1 year of start; must cover all locations lived/worked in past 7 years.
• E-Verify or attestation required.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming freedom from communicable diseases.
• Fit test within 1 year of start, updated annually (not required for students).
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually.
• Required immunizations or positive titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B.
• Two clinical references required.
• Complete employment application/resume and annual skills checklist.
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the facility (not provided by agency for new candidates).
• Must complete facility-specific compliance, confidentiality, and orientation paperwork prior to start.

Additional Notes

• Must be willing to stay late if cases extend into the evening (rotated among staff).
• Facility allows calling off one shift per two weeks.
• All requests for time off must be submitted with the application.
