CVOR Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Specialty: Surgical Services
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

Position in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
First-time travelers accepted
Must be willing to float to General OR cases (confirm acceptance before assignment)
Unit performs all surgical specialties except transplant in a 13-room OR
Special equipment includes 2 Xi DaVinci Robots

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Contract Details

Contract length: 13 weeks

Additional Notes

Must complete facility-specific forms and acknowledgements as a priority before start
HIPAA and safety manual acknowledgements required
Orientation and compliance packets must be reviewed and signed prior to start
On-site fit testing available only as a last resort and requires prior approval
PAPR use requires facility approval prior to start
