ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - San Francisco, CA

Job Details

Location: San Francisco, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (07:00 - 19:30)
Weekend rotation required; no on-call duties
Floating as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Facility-specific documents and policies must be reviewed and signed prior to start, including:
- Job description
- Standards of business conduct
- Code of conduct
- Overpayment refund policy
- Vendor training
- TB questionnaire (signed by candidate and healthcare provider)
Religious exemptions:
- Available for facial hair (PAPR use) and certain vaccine requirements, subject to approval
No annual background check update required by client, but Aya Healthcare requires annual background checks for direct candidates
Must comply with all regulatory and facility-specific orientation and training requirements

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs licensed in California who are comfortable working 12-hour day shifts with weekend rotations and meet the comprehensive credentialing, health, and background requirements.
