Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel/Contract

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care focused on cardiac patients including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias.
Secondary focus on respiratory conditions such as COPD and pneumonia.
Floating to other units as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Telemetry experience
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
