Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Travel/Contract)

Location

  • Washington, District of Columbia

Contract Details

  • Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shift:
    • Monday & Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • Wednesday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Hours per week: 40 hours
  • Weekend scheduling: No

Job Description

  • Outpatient physical therapy setting
  • Patient caseload: 12-14 patients per day (average ~60 per week)
  • Typical first day includes meeting staff, EMR introduction ("RainTree"), shadowing treatments, and treating a few patients
  • Full support staff available including front office and PT aides/techs to assist with patient flow
  • Double booking of patients is common in outpatient to maintain business viability

Required Experience & Skills

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in District of Columbia
  • Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • Personal injury experience
  • Workers' compensation experience
