Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (CVOR) - Travel/Contract

Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Discipline: Registered Nurse
Specialty: CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Call Requirements: Every 3rd day and at least 1 to 2 weekends per month
Weekend/Holiday Coverage: As needed
Floating: Not applicable
Additional Duties: Expected to assist in the general OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled
Patient Population: May care for COVID-19 patients
Facility Environment: Tobacco and fragrance-free

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and Pennsylvania-specific PATCH search
PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending if appointment receipt and attestation are on file
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance required; candidate may start with results pending if proof of submission and attestation are on file
Education verification of highest degree
Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
Immunizations and titers required:
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- TDAP within 10 years
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination
Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
Professional references: 2 required within 3 years
Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable, including Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail)
Photo for badge (passport-style, professional)
Completion of facility-specific documents including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Commitment to Health & Wellness, and others as required
Completion of Learning Management System (LMS) modules and New Hire Orientation by specified deadlines

Additional Notes

Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
Candidate will be reviewed by clinical team for fit and manager interview required
Facility requires adherence to tobacco and fragrance-free policy

This position offers a structured schedule with call and weekend responsibilities, requiring a minimum of 2 years RN experience in CVOR, ACLS and BLS certifications, and EPIC proficiency. Compliance with extensive background checks, immunizations, and facility-specific onboarding is mandatory.
