Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Billings, Montana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (06:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
• Must have experience in hearts, thoracic, vascular, and hybrid cases
• General OR or RN experience required (candidates limited to only CVOR experience are not desired)
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Prior CVOR RN experience: minimum 1 year
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles away from the facility (locals not accepted)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Montana
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience, with CVOR experience within the last year
• Operating Room (OR) experience
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 30 days of start; must be renewed annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
• Education verification of highest level completed
• NURSYS verification for RN license within 30 days of start
• Employment application covering 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Two references required, including one direct supervisor reference within the last year
• Employment verification preferred for the last 5 years

Additional Notes

• Candidates must not have previously worked at this facility or health system
• Skills checklist and other documentation may be required as applicable
• Onsite OSHA form required for fit testing authorization

This position is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs with strong multi-specialty surgical experience and prior travel contract history who are ready for a 13-week travel assignment in Montana.
