Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Greensboro, North Carolina

Job Details

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend, holidays as needed
Float: Required to float across all facilities as needed
Patient Population: Primarily Medical-Surgical (MS) with some Telemetry (tele-capable unit)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Registered Nurse)
First Time Travelers: Accepted

Job Description

Care for patients with observation status, respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice care, psychiatric observation, diabetes (including new and complicated cases), surgical patients, and surgical observation
Use of EPIC electronic health record system
Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Must pass a mandatory Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Medication Administration Badge (MAB)
EKG competency
