Job Details

• Start Date: January 5
• Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5, with potential for 1:6-7
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years hospital experience; no travel experience if over 4 years total experience
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Locals Accepted: Yes
• Pending License: Not accepted
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No holiday RTO; maximum 5 total days off in 13-week assignment; no additional RTO after contract start
• Holiday RTO: No time off approved the day before, day of, or day after a holiday

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or American Red Cross accepted, RQI accepted
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required for Tele/PCU, ER, ICU/CCU, PACU, OR; preferred for Observation unit
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required for Med Surg, ER, ICU; must be updated annually
• Preferred: Basic dysrhythmia training (self-rating 3 or above), NIH preferred

Special Requirements

• Cardiac experience with self-rating of 3 or above
• Ability to care for patients with mental health diagnoses
• Unit-specific competency exam required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

• Background check within 30 days of start (7-year criminal search including all counties worked in last 7 years)
• Copy of diploma or transcript required (unofficial transcripts acceptable if graduation date included)
• Education verification if transcript/diploma unavailable
• Physical exam within 1 year stating "cleared to work" with physician signature
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years if prior positive TB)
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug test within 30 days of start (10-panel, negative results)
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - May 1)
• Two professional references required
• Annual skills checklist and performance evaluation or references if applicable
• Completion of facility-specific modules and trainings prior to start (including Oracle and WorkRamp modules)
• Badge photo required (plain white background, clear front-facing photo)
• Signed job description, confidentiality agreement, code of conduct acknowledgment, and marketing consent form required prior to start
