Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Job Description

• Work location includes both Prince William Medical Center and Haymarket Medical Center.
• Schedule: 5 days a week, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Call requirements: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend per month.
• Provide care to patients undergoing peripheral vascular, interventional, and vascular procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care according to current policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Procedures)
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in Interventional Procedures (RT(R))
• Licensure/Certification:

  • Registered Technologist (RT(R)) with ARRT certification required

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): AHA or American Red Cross accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or American Red Cross accepted
• Other certifications may be preferred or required depending on unit or facility specifics

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Proof of identity (government-issued photo ID)
• Background checks including criminal, education verification, and federal/state databases
• Employment application and professional references (2 references from the specialty/unit within last 2 years)
• Photo for badge (passport style, business attire, solid backdrop)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date (or within 30 days if past positive TB)
• Negative QGold TB test within 30 days of start (PPD and T-Spot not accepted)
• Annual TB questionnaire and screening
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination series or declination form if applicable)
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
• Fit mask (N95) testing within 1 year and renewed annually

Additional Notes

• Medication, competency, and dysrhythmia/EKG exams required for RNs (not applicable for this RT role)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• Must comply with all facility-specific onboarding and compliance documentation
• Orientation and badge issuance require timely submission of photo and documents
