Job Details

• Position: Middle School Resource Teacher (Mild/Moderate)
• Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours/week
• Must have an active Colorado Special Education (Sped) General Endorsement
• Responsibilities include case management and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Candidates should be comfortable performing these duties
• References required: 3 total, with at least 2 supervisory references

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Colorado CAPS Release Authorization form required prior to background check processing (must list 5 years residency)
• Colorado CBI/FBI fingerprint results required; candidates must complete two sets of fingerprints (one for Aya, one for client) at different locations
• Fingerprint clearance attestation required annually
• Drug testing: Not required unless specifically requested by client
• Physical exam and immunizations (e.g., TB, flu, MMR, Hep B, Varicella) not routinely required unless requested by client or state
