Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Radiology Technician
Location: Munster, Indiana

Job Description
- Position: Cath Lab Radiology Technician
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Options for 5x8 hour shifts (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM) or 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) available
- Call Rotation:
- Every 6-7 weekends (approximately 2 weekends per 13-week contract)
- 1 call day and 1 late day per week during the pay period
- Call weekend starts Friday 6:00 PM and ends Monday 7:00 AM
- On-call staff must be within 30 minutes of arrival for acute STEMI cases
- Team consists of 2 RNs and 1 RT
- Call Night: RT covers 1 call night per week (6:00 PM to 7:00 AM next day)
- Late Shift: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM (or until last scheduled case finishes)
- Late team finishes remaining cases if others leave at 6:00 PM
- Typically 1 late shift per week
- Typical work week includes:
- 1 call shift (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
- 1 late shift (10:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
- 3 shifts of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Requirements
- Licensure: Must have a valid Indiana State License (no temporary licenses accepted; compact license or permanent IN license required)

- Core Part I, II, III Exams - Must be completed prior to start and updated annually
- OSHA Mandatory Training - Annual requirement
- Color Blind Testing - Required within 1 year, online exam acceptable
- NIH Stroke Certification - Annual requirement for nursing staff (not required for allied staff)
Documentation & Compliance
- Background Checks:
- Within 30 days and updated annually
- Includes SS Trace, County Resided & Employed, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS L3
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required prior to start
- Accounting Documents: I9, Driver’s License/State ID, Emergency Contact Form, E-Verify
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year, cleared to work with no restrictions
- Fit Mask (N95) required prior to start, OSHA standards for facial hair
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
- Immunity Titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (boosters and declinations as applicable)
- Drug Testing: 10-panel within 3 weeks of start (no instant tests)
- Flu Vaccination or exemption during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- COVID Vaccination: 2 doses Moderna/Pfizer or 1 dose J&J required; medical and religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation
- Facility Specific Documents: Credential checklists, EHR access agreements, medication administration study guides, EKG challenge study guides, confidentiality agreements, benefits waivers, staffing agreements, and job description acknowledgment
- References: 2 references from most recent contract (supervisors or charge nurses acceptable)
- Employment Application and Skills Checklist: Required annually
