ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in San Leandro, California.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
36 hours per week.
Every other weekend.
Float as needed to med/surg tele, PCU 1:3, and Tele 1:4.
Accepts first-time travelers.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
NIHSS.
Experience with Epic.
Experience with Impella.
Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP).
Experience with IV insulin protocols.
Experience with GI Surgery.
Experience with IV Therapy - PICC lines, A lines, central lines.
Experience with blood administration.
Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Preferred Qualifications

PALS.
CCRN.
CVICU skillset.

Required Skills

Medical, neuro, surgical, trauma.
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Impella.
IABP.
IV insulin protocols.
GI Surgery.
IV Therapy - PICC lines.
A lines.
Blood admin.
Central lines.
Medications.

Additional Notes
