Neuro Tele/Stepdown RN

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Bridgeton, Missouri.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
• 36 hours per week.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Ratios: 1:4.
• First-timers accepted.
• Every other weekend required.
• Must work 4 of these 8 holidays: Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 12/26, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.
• Floating may be required to like units.
• Locals are not accepted; local radius rule is 70 miles.
• RTO dates should be provided at submission.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license in Missouri.
• Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
• Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• Stepdown experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• Skills Checklist 1.
• Negative drug screen within 12 months of start.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start.
• TB Questionnaire at start and annually.
• Missouri - MO EDL Search Results.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS.

• 497 staffed beds.
• Charting: EPIC.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
