Multimodality Tech CT/X-Ray

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating 3x12s: 7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30
• Every other weekend required
• May float to like units within scope
• First-timers accepted, but not preferred
• Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Radius rule: 60 miles

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (C)
• SCRQSA
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Must provide a radiation badge
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license or state ID
• Must provide a copy of Social Security card
• Must complete E-Verify attestation
• Must pass an annual background check
• Must complete EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• Must complete HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Must provide proof of 2 clinical references
• Must submit a complete application/resume
• Must complete a skills checklist for the applicable unit
• Must complete a competency exam
• Must complete a fit test within 90 days prior to start
• Must complete a physical exam
• Must complete a 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Must complete South Carolina state exclusion list screening
• Must complete work history verification for the last 3 clinical employers
• Must complete orientation modules before start
• Must upload required vaccination/documentation items before start

Preferred

• Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exam experience in both modalities
• Siemens equipment experience
• EPIC familiarity
• PACS familiarity
• COVID vaccination documentation

Additional Notes

• On-call is not required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency
• Parking is paid for nights and weekends
• Teaching hospital
• Magnet and Level 1 Trauma facility
• 865 staffed beds
