Overview
- Travel/Contract role in La Jolla, California
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit / Assignment Context
- CVICU
- May be required to float to like units or lower-acuity units across the organization, excluding the ED
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU experience within the last year
- 2 years of CVICU experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with Cerner
- 2 satisfactory references

Schedule Requirements
- Position is Sun-Sat
- May be scheduled for Friday/Saturday/Sunday block if desired
- Must work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week cycle
- Must work at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
Compliance / Health Requirements
- Proof of W4 on file
- 7-year criminal background check
- HHS/OIG check
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Tdap vaccine required
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start, updated yearly
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity/vaccination required
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption on file
- Flu vaccination or flu declination required year-round
