Telemetry RN Travel Contract

Location

Florence, Kentucky

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours
7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
May include block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed
Weekend rotation includes 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, plus 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays

Role Details

Supports ED boarders across the system
May float between Florence and Edgewood campuses
May float to Observation Units and MS/Tele units as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Telemetry experience: 1.5 years of experience
Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization patient care
Experience managing ports
Experience with Epic

Compliance / Health Requirements

COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Flu vaccination or approved exemption
Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
Negative 10-panel drug screen
Physical exam within 12 months
Fit test within 12 months of start
Two clinical references within 2 years

Additional Notes

Locals within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
Travel partners are not allowed
No RTO from 12/15/2026 to 1/5/2027
Navy blue scrubs required
No nose rings or gauged earrings
Nails must be under 1/4 inch; natural fingernails required for direct client care
Free parking
Refrigerator and microwave available on-site
No cafeteria available
