Unit typically runs 36 beds
Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
CVICU (1 year of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Impella devices
Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients not directly from the OR
Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization and intervention
Experience with pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring
Experience with thermodilution PA catheter monitoring
Level 1 trauma experience
Experience with arterial lines
Experience with mechanical ventilators
Experience with sheaths
Experience with dialysis
Experience with Epic

Preferred

Travel experience

Scheduling and Floating

Must be available every other weekend and holiday
First to float at the facility’s discretion
May float within specialty clusters and to nearby campuses

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
No Ohio license needed in hand at signing
RTO must be requested with initial submission and is subject to manager approval
For 48-hour contracts, overtime is paid after 48 hours
Contract may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine
2 shifts may be canceled due to low census during the 13-week contract
