Overview

• Location: Mount Pleasant, Texas
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Weekly hours: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Temp-to-perm: Possible if department openings are available at the end of the contract

Unit Details

• 16-bed emergency department with 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds
• Patient mix includes stroke, STEMI, MVC trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Cath lab operates 24/7

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID

• Background check covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Physical exam
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
