Registered Nurse — Med/Surg Telemetry

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating may be required within scope, including to sister facilities
• Local candidates are not accepted; local radius rule is 75 miles
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• RTO limit: 5 days or less
• Charting system: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Additional Requirements

• Driver’s license or state-issued ID must be submitted
• 10-year work history verification is required
• 2 former direct supervisor references are required
• Current resume must include the last 7 years of employment and explain gaps greater than 30 days
• Background check and education verification are required
• Fit testing is required onsite
• Physical exam within 1 year of start is required
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray is required
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption is required
• Drug screen is required
• COVID vaccination is strongly preferred; declination is accepted
• Hepatitis B documentation is required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation is required
• Tdap is required for this role
• Hepatitis A documentation is required for pediatric/PICU positions and certain campuses only, not stated as required for this role

Notes for Candidates

• Patient care orientation class is required
• If no Epic experience within the last 6 months, Epic class is required before receiving the schedule
• Utility bill showing an address more than 75 miles from the facility may be requested for local-radius verification
