Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Oregon City, Oregon
• 13-week assignment
• Night or day shifts, 3x12 hours
• 36 hours per week
• Floating between units may be required based on unit needs
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• No block scheduling
• No first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Pediatric Behavioral Health (1 year of experience)
• Pediatric Behavioral Health experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Must have a vehicle for this assignment
• BLS certification
• NURSYS verification
• Background check
• Education verification
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Clinical Requirements

• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI certification
• Management of Assaultive Behavior
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Skills checklist for the applicable unit

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance
• Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation or declination
• Respiratory safety clearance

Work Conditions

• May float to other units and facilities as needed
• If floating consecutive shifts, a hotel may be offered at additional cost
