• First-time travelers are accepted.

• Weekend coverage may be needed for one weekend shift during the contract.
• Patient population includes inpatient and outpatient neonate through 26 years of age.
• The role includes neuro, body, MSK, angio, spect., sedated cases, and non-sedated cases.
• Equipment used includes GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, Bayer injectors, EPIC, Invivo Monitoring, and GE PACS.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience in Supervisory roles
• AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
• AHA BLS - Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
• AHA PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
• Must include 2 supervisory references.
• Current government-issued photo ID is required within 24–48 hours of signing the contract.
• Legal name must match the traveler’s license and certifications.
• Criminal background check is required within 30 days of start.
• Education verification is required.
• Fingerprinting is required within 60 days of start.
• Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting is required within 60 days of start.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM search is required within 30 days of start.
• HHS/OIG search is required within 30 days of start.
• Sex offender search is required within 30 days of start.
• Ohio Nurse Aide Registry search is required within 30 days of start.
• Ohio Inmate Registry search is required within 30 days of start.
• Ohio Medicaid Exemption search is required within 30 days of start.
• Ohio State Abuse Registry search is required within 30 days of start.
• State license verification is required within 30 days of start.
• NURSYS verification is required within 30 days of start.
• Competency exam is required.
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam is required.
• Unit-specific skills checklist is required.
• Resume or application is required.

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Infection control policy must be reviewed and signed before start.
• Physical exam is required.
• N95 fit testing is required within 1 year of start.
• Tdap documentation is required.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray is required.
• TB questionnaire is required.
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation is required.
• Hepatitis B documentation is required.
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation is required.
• Drug screen is required within 60 days prior to start.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required during flu season.
• Code of conduct and confidentiality/IT use agreement must be completed before start.
