Job Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Largo, Maryland
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:30–08:00
• 36 hours per week
• Start date: 9/14/2026
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Floating required within ED borders, extenders to MS/T, and IMC units within specialty and scope
• On-call shifts are not required
• Ratio: 1:6
• Average daily census: minimum 10, up to 40 borders daily
• Fast-paced, high-volume border setting with ER, MS/T, and IMC patient care within scope
• Scrub color: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• CPI

• Portfolio training test-out form required by the first Friday after signing
• Age-specific competency exam required within 1 year of start
• Competency exam required within 1 year of start
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 1 year of start
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required within 1 year of start
• Color blind testing required
• Two vaccines or positive titers required for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella
• Hepatitis B titer or declination required
• Tdap requirement applies only to units working with children; not required for ER RN unless Peds ER
• Two supervisory references required within 1 year of start
