Operating Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Oakland, California
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12
Weekly schedule: 36 hours
Weekends: Every other weekend
On-call: As needed
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
OR - Operating Room (5 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
5 years of experience as a circulator
ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) procedures experience
Endoscopy procedures experience
General surgery procedures experience
Gynecology (GYN) procedures experience
Neurosurgery (neuro) procedures experience
Oral surgery procedures experience
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Notes

EPIC familiarity is listed in the source experience section
Photo ID or passport required for onboarding
Flu vaccination documentation is required by the stated deadline
Fit testing is required for all patient-facing positions
TB, drug screening, and other standard health/documentation clearances are required
