PT Home Health

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Tampa, Florida
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–17:00
• 40 hours per week
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• Home health assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in a(n) Home Health setting
• Driver's License
• Cardiopulmonary/Circulatory assessment and treatment
• Orthopedic (Ortho) patient care
• Neurological (Neuro) patient care
• Experience with equipment and devices (gait belt, rolling walker, sit to stand lift, sliding boards, soft/hard collars, standard walker, supplemental oxygen, upper extremity prosthetics, wheelchair assessment)

Preferred Qualifications

• OASIS training

Clinical / Patient Population

• Skilled home care patients may include med/surg, cardiac, ortho, hips/knees/shoulders, post-surgical, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, CVA, falls, weakness, Parkinson’s, failure to thrive, respiratory patients, neuro, trachs, trauma, AKA, BKA, and ADLs

Work Setting and Duties

• Home skilled visits: 6–8 per day
• Minimum of 6 points per day at manager’s discretion, may increase by 1 point
• 1–2 weekends per contract

Additional Notes

• Any solid color scrubs
• Laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers are used for the assignment
