Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT - Peds

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

22 weeks
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Experience

No experience required

Preferred Experience

Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting
Previous work in a children’s-only hospital

Key Responsibilities

Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed
Record treatment information and patient response in the computerized medical record
Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring
Provide age-appropriate care
Clean and maintain respiratory equipment
Maintain respiratory therapy records
Serve on the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
