RN Perioperative Circulator

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 4 days per week
Schedule: No call, no weekends, no holidays
Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week


Job Summary

The Perioperative Circulator RN plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This role requires applying clinical knowledge and judgment to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients in the perioperative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room.
  • Continuously evaluate and document all aspects of patient care using the nursing process.
  • Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team to deliver specialized perioperative care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
  • Minimum 1 year of operating room (OR) experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Perioperative nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or higher) from a board-approved program.
  • CNOR certification.
  • Experience in ophthalmology procedures.

Additional Information

  • No call, weekend, or holiday shifts required.
