Job Description

This entry-level position works under immediate to general supervision to develop competencies in cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services for adult and pediatric patients. The role supports medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and monitoring of various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care in diverse settings including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, urgent care, and outreach clinics.
Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
Operate specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, or surgical procedures.
Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality meet protocols and accreditation standards.
Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
Perform quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience working with pediatric patients
Experience with Philips imaging equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher

Work Schedule

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including on-call hours
12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
