Location

• Morristown, New Jersey

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour evening shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with High Risk patients

Preferred Education

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Key Responsibilities

• Performs thorough patient assessments across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric
• Provides direct nursing care and supports patient care delivery
• Maintains accurate clinical documentation, including patient education and progress toward outcomes
• Follows patient safety practices, including universal protocol and two patient identifiers
• Uses safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics
• Supports preoperative and postoperative assessment and education
• Evaluates pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness and completeness
• Assists with timely completion of patient testing
