Location: Golden, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions under accepted practice standards set by the state Board of Nursing.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, including ongoing health data collection and assessment.
Provides health teaching, health counseling, and therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need.
May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
Valid RN license in Colorado
PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience of 1 year, with experience within the last year
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS
NIHSS
