Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Cary, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Contract Details

• Length: 6 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts over 6 weeks (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Float: Flexibility to float to similar units if needed
• On Call/Call Back: Not required

Experience & Requirements

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery
• Minimum Experience: 3+ years in Labor and Delivery (highest required)
• Prior Travel Experience: Highly preferred (not strictly required)
• Charting System: Epic strongly preferred
• Certifications Required:

  • NC or Compact RN License
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • AHA PALS
  • NRP
  • FHM-AWHONN

Additional Information

• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Social and team-oriented candidates preferred
• Scrub Colors: Red, Black, Gray (solid colors only; no designs unless in Pediatric areas)
• T-shirts worn under scrubs must be solid red, black, gray, or white (no hoodies or fleece jackets; scrub jackets allowed)
• Vaccination Requirements: COVID/Booster and Flu vaccinations required unless medically or religiously exempt
