Overview

• Travel assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky
• 12-hour nights
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 48 per week
• No blocked scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients

Preferred

• Care View/EPIC charting experience

Schedule and Float

• Every other weekend and holiday required unless time off is approved
• Floats throughout all in-patient Med Surg/Tele units
• May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance

Unit Details

• 340-bed Level II Trauma Center
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Unit beds vary from 15 to 45 depending on assignment

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccine required unless a medical or religious declination applies; if declined, weekly testing is required at the traveler/agency expense
