Job Description

Perform MRI studies following protocols established by Radiologists
Operate MRI scanner to produce consistently high-quality images
Prepare scan room and equipment as needed
Position patients, coils, and equipment appropriately
Maintain communication with patients throughout the scanning procedure

Requirements

Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Completion of an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program (Required)
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist (Required)
- 1 year experience in CT or MRI preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
- ARRT MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire
- RT(R) - Registered Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) (Required)
- RT(MR) - Registered Technologist (MRI) (Required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (Required)
