Electrophysiology Tech (RCES/RCIS) - Grand Forks, North Dakota

Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift/Schedule:

• 8 or 10 hour shifts
• 36-40 hours per week, day shift
• No call, no weekends or holidays
• Some open-ended late shifts

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as an EP Tech
• RCES or RCIS certification (either accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Must obtain North Dakota Medical Imaging License from the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board within 12 months of start date

Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist prepares the Cath Lab for cardiac catheterization procedures and supports patient care throughout. Responsibilities include:

• Performing hemodynamic and control room duties
• Completing patient catheterization reports
• Correlating invasive and non-invasive test analyses and reporting findings to physicians
• Maintaining sterile technique during Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
• Performing and monitoring stress tests
• Practicing radiation safety to protect staff and patients
• Transporting patients as needed
• Other duties as assigned to meet department needs

Additional Notes

• Candidate must meet requirements aligned with the conditional license of the North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board
• Certification as Cardiovascular Technologist - Registered (CCT) is expected within 24 months of start date

This position is ideal for experienced EP Techs seeking a day-shift role with no weekends or call, in a long-term contract setting.
