Microbiology Medical Technologist
Overview
- Specialty: Microbiology
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 40 per week
- Schedule: 9pm–7am, Monday through Thursday
Role Summary
- Perform bacteriology, serology, rapid PCR testing, and microbiology specimen processing during peak volume hours.
- Work with highly complex laboratory testing and contribute to a productive, customer-focused work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Medical Technologist experience within the last year
- MLS(ASCP)
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- Experience reading urine cultures
- Experience reading gram stains
Training
- Training is provided on day shift at the bench or analyzer for 2–3 weeks before moving to the second shift schedule.

- Teal scrubs
