Role Summary

CT coverage with cross-coverage in Xray and Surgery; the department also supports all areas other than Mammo and US.

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Must have experience in Xray
• Must start IVs

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT
• CT

Clinical Duties

• Plain films
• CT scans
• C-arm procedures

Schedule

• Evening coverage, 2p-10:30p Monday-Friday
• 36 hours per week
• 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts with rotating calls every 3-5 weeks

Call / Weekend / Holiday

• Weekend call rotation from Friday evening to Monday morning
• Rotating holidays
• 20 minute call response time

Department Details

• 1 X-Ray Room
• 1 US Room
• 1 Mammo Room
• 1 CT Room
• 1 Dexa Room
• Average 16 studies across all modalities Sunday-Saturday
• Other techs are on until 4:30 PM
• No RRA's
• No radiologist in-house

• Xray Room & Portable: Shimadzu
• US, DEXA, C-arm: GE
• EMR: Evident CPSI
• PACS: Imagelink
• MedQ radiologist reading room
• Doc Halo radiologist reading group

Housing

• Housing available at additional cost

• No mandatory scrub color
• Scrubs are not provided
• No specific orientation for CT vs Xray
