L&D Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Chandler, Arizona
13-week contract
Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Unit

Labor and Delivery
18 LDRP beds, 14-bed OB triage, 8-bed Antepartum
2 fully equipped ORs for C-sections

Required Qualifications

Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Arizona RN license or compact license
2 years of experience
Experience with C-sections
Computer charting experience
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting, with 2 attempts
Must pass a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
COVID vaccine required, or declination form with appropriate documentation and hospital approval

Preferred

Cerner experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

4 weekend shifts per schedule
Floating to MB/PP when needed
First to float
Holidays as needed

Clinical Details

Cares for laboring or preterm pregnant patients
Must be able to confidently circulate and recover C-sections
Titrates Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate per protocol
Level II EQ; accepts gestations 28 weeks and greater
Level 1 Trauma Center
