Location: Middletown, New York (about 1.5 hours from New York City; close to the Catskill Mountains)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Days, 0630-1900, 12-hour shifts (3x12s + call), 36 hours per week. Also described as 8- or 10-hour days.

Role Overview

• Two OR RNs needed
• RN must circulate; no scrubbing required
• Main unit has 11 rooms
• Approximately 40 cases per day
• Full range of surgery services with state-of-the-art equipment
• Not many on-call hours required (can be discussed in interview)
• Does not do open hearts or transplants

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State nursing license in good standing, required to submit
• COVID vaccine required
• Declination forms are not accepted
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Associate, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• All required documentation must be included with the candidate's submission and profile. No exceptions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
• American Nurses Association-endorsed certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses certification (based on certification specialty hours of work requirement)
