Overview

13-week contract
Location: Peoria, Illinois
12-hour day shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0600-1430

Role details

Float role focused on starting IVs, assisting, and admissions
Unit has 22 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 in Pre Op; 1:2 in Phase 2

Required Qualifications

Active IL RN license
BLS
ACLS
2 years of Pre/Post Op experience
Able to start IVs using Lidocaine

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC experience
Optime/Radiant experience
Cardiac experience

Schedule and call

Call required once per week until 11 PM
Call response time: 1 hour
Weekends not required

Floating

Floats within the Preop/Phase 2 units

Orientation

1-2 days of unit orientation

Additional notes

Hospital provided scrubs
