Required Qualifications
- Active, full, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or another U.S. state; Alaska license must be active at time of submittal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of primary care experience, with experience within the last 2 years
- Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility address to be eligible to apply
Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services in an outpatient/ambulatory care setting
- Support providers, clinic staff, and management to maintain quality care, efficient resource use, and compliance with standards
- Lead and direct clinic staff, including front desk and patient care operations
- Maintain medication inventory and supplies
- Perform quality control checks for point-of-care tests
- Document care and services accurately and promptly
- Oversee opening and closing of provider clinics
- Assist providers and staff as needed
- Communicate with other departments to support patients, providers, and clinic staff
