Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license
Basic Life Support (BLS) meeting American Heart Association Healthcare Provider standards, renewed every two years

Experience

One year of nursing experience preferred

Job Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care following established standards and practices
Assist providers with patient care and education
Participate in coordination of patient care with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team

Knowledge and Skills

Practical nursing principles and skills for patient care and treatment
Common safety hazards and precautions
Office procedures and medical terminology
Basic ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
Clear communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Ability to identify problems, prioritize, make quick decisions, and recommend solutions
Ability to administer medications and treatments and use equipment for examinations and treatment procedures
