ICU RN Travel Assignment

Overview

  • Location: Waycross, Georgia
  • Setting: ICU

Schedule

  • Position title and every other weekend
  • Flexible self-scheduling model within scheduling rules

Unit Details

  • 12-bed ICU
  • Patient ratios: 2:1; 3:1 with downgraded patients
  • Monitored private rooms
  • Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps and respiratory ventilators
  • Documentation system: MediTech Expanse

Patient Population / Clinical Focus

  • Critically ill patients
  • Cardiac, respiratory, DKA, and sepsis patients

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Georgia
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

Common Procedures on the Unit

  • Vital signs
  • A-line monitoring
  • Insulin drips
  • Sedative and vasopressor drips

Dress Code

  • Navy blue nurse scrubs

Additional Notes

  • Voluntary floating based on area expertise
