Registered Nurse – Med Surg Telemetry

Location: Rumford, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend required; weekend rotation as needed
Call Requirements: None
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed

Facility & Unit Overview

• Critical access hospital with 25 beds
• Services include 24/7 emergency care, primary care, diagnostic and medical-surgical services, women’s health, ambulatory surgery, and swing bed program
• Unit specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
• Patient population: Adult to geriatric patients
• Common diagnoses: CHF, COPD, general deconditioning requiring PT/OT, COVID-19
• Equipment and systems: Omnicell medication system, Cerner documentation, SBAR communication, Epic EHR

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification preferred

Additional Information

• No travelers permitted within 50 miles of the facility
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
