Travel RN position in Birmingham, Alabama
Specialty: Ortho/Surgery Post-op
Shift: PM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience

Schedule

Every other weekend required
No call required
Shift starts at 1845

Unit Details

30-bed unit
Patient ratio: 6:1
Float as needed
Fast-paced surgical unit

Preferred Experience

Med/Surg, orthopedics, and post-op experience

Work Expectations

Bedside shift report required
Strong time management, positive attitude, work ethic, and attendance are important
Quick thinking, confidence, and ability to work hard are valued

Dress Code

Navy scrubs
No long, gel, wrapped, dipped, or fake nails
