RN - Med Surg

Overview

• Travel RN position in Albany, New York
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• 48 hours per week may be accepted if interested

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• One completed travel assignment
• Med Surg experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
• Ability to float to a variety of ICUs
• Experience with Epic
• Must be comfortable and competent caring for ICU patients in:

  • neuro/trauma SICU
  • MICU
  • CPS/VICU
  • CCU
  • progressive critical care unit (PCCU)
  • ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement

Preferred Experience

• Level I trauma center experience
• Experience floating to a variety of ICUs

Additional Requirements

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
