Overview
- Travel assignment in Reston, Virginia
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Unit name: CVICU
- 4 beds
- Patient ratios: 1:1 immediate post surgical, 1:2 POD 1-3
- Primary Nursing
- Floating: will take the same ratio as the unit floated to
- New cardiac surgery program launch
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Cardiac Surgery patients
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Experience with Impella
Preferred / Helpful Experience
- Balloon pump
- Impella training
- Hemosphere or Acumen trained
Schedule
- 36 hours
- 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
