Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

• Unit: 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation (IP Rehab)
• Staffing:

  • Average 12 staff per shift
  • Day Shift: Director, Lead PT, 4-5 PTs, 5-6 PTAs
  • No night shifts
• Patient Ratios: Varies based on volume
• Equipment: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes
• EMR System: Meditech

Schedule & Shifts

• Days, 8-hour shifts
• One weekend per month (with weekdays off to balance)
• Must be able to work varied day shift hours
• No on-call required

Required Experience & Skills

• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Ability to work varied day shift hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Typical Patient Population & Procedures

• Inpatient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical patients
• Schedule influenced by surgical volume, including weekends and holiday rotations
