Job Summary
Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a Cath Lab unit. The role requires technical proficiency, a positive and caring attitude, and the ability to contribute to excellent patient outcomes and experiences.
Unit & Work Details
- Unit: Cath Lab
- Shift: Not specified (weekend and call requirements to be confirmed)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 to 40 hours per week
- Floating: Required as needed (travelers must comply with the facility’s floating policy)
- Documentation System: Meditech (preferred experience)
- Equipment: Bi Plane Imaging Suites
Required Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT certification (Tech)
- Texas Medical Board License
- Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
- BLS certification
- Ability to pull call nights and weekends
- Ability to operate Bi Plane Imaging Suites
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
Procedures Performed
- Heart Catheterizations
- Electrophysiology (EP) studies
- Interventional Radiology studies
Dress Code & Appearance Guidelines
- Scrubs provided; Cath Lab Tech scrub color: Brown
- Nails must be clean and healthy
- Hair must be covered with OR cap (color irrelevant)
- Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; exceptions handled individually
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
Additional Notes
- Must be willing to float to other units as needed
- Adherence to attendance and unit-specific policies required
