Travel RN Opportunity - Springfield, Tennessee

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Springfield, TN
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit Name: MS2 & MS3
• Number of Beds: 27 beds on each floor
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Staffing: Unit secretaries during dayshift; techs available on all shifts
• Floating Policy: Must float between MS2 and MS3 units
• Scheduling: 3 days per week with every other weekend required
• Documentation System: Currently Medhost, transitioning to Meditech (starting April 19th)
• Equipment: Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allen vital sign machines (brand new)

Required Skills & Experience

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med/Surg nursing
• Experience Required: Basic Med/Surg experience, with experience caring for post-op patients, especially orthopedic patients
• Procedures Performed: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License required

• Dress Code: Dark blue uniform required
• The unit offers new equipment and technology, including new computers on wheels and vital sign machines
• Staff have tenure and experience, providing a supportive work environment
