Travel RN Opportunity – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: San Jose, California

Unit Information

Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Beds: 4 Cath Lab Rooms
Staffing:
- 20 RNs total
- Room mix: 2 RNs and 2 RTs per patient during procedures
- 8–9 RNs staffed daily
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Night Shift: On call only
Patient Ratios: 2 RNs + 2 RTs per patient in procedure
Equipment: GE and Philips systems
EMR: MacLab - Meditech

Typical Procedures

Cardiac Cath lab procedures
Heart catheterizations
Peripheral procedures
Atrial fibrillation/flutter, SVT, VT interventions
Stroke and complex neuro interventions

Required Certifications and Licenses

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred Experience

Neuro and Electrophysiology experience

Work Environment and Culture

Teamwork-oriented unit
Floating area includes recovery of cath lab patients
Scrubs provided by hospital
On call by rotation as needed

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
